District Praha 4 · right bank
Podolí & Braník
The river-lido stretch: the Podolí pools, Žluté lázně beach bars and the cycling path south along the Vltava.
What it is
The right bank south of Vyšehrad, where Prague goes to swim, cycle and lie on a deckchair. Not a sightseeing district; a living-well district.
What is here
The Podolí swimming stadium has a 50-metre outdoor pool open year-round, steaming in winter. Žluté lázně is a riverside lido of beach bars and volleyball. The Vltava cycling path runs flat and car-free all the way south to Zbraslav.
